About Thomas Scholten
Thomas Scholten is a devoted advocate for his clients and he goes above and beyond to make sure his clients get the best possible outcome. When he is not in the office, he can regularly be found in court or in front of adjudicators advocating for his clients.
As a Dutch-Canadian, Mr. Scholten is also mindful of the additional consequences immigrants may face if convicted of a criminal offense. He is also mindful of Indigenous peoples’ history and experiences in Canada, as well of the unique experiences of Canada’s many diverse communities.
Mr. Scholten graduated from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law and, before that, he graduated with honors from Mount Royal University. He spent his years in law school building practical advocacy skills by competing in the esteemed Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and volunteering at the University’s pro-bono legal clinic.
